Problems with hawks & owls
Raptors are predatory birds that catch and kill their prey with their talons. They include eagles, hawks, owls, falcons, osprey, kites and harriers.
Hawks eating birds at feeder
They are probably sharp-shinned or Cooper's hawk. They eat only birds. To get a hawk to move on, remove the feeder for 1-2 weeks to let the songbirds disperse.
