Programs at the museum
Based on the California Science Framework Standards, our docent-led tours include live animals, games and activities that highlight the characteristics, interaction and adaptations of local wildlife.

Hours and prices

School Year Tuesday: 9 am, 10:30 am, 12:30 pm
Wednesday-Friday: 9 am, 10:30 am
Summer Tuesday: 9 am, 10:30 am, 12:30 pm
Wednesday-Friday: 9 am only
Cost Grades K-2       
Grades 3 & up    
$120     60 minutes     20 students per tour
$150     90 minutes     35 students per tour

Six adult chaperones and one classroom teacher are admitted at no cost. Younger siblings and additional chaperones may not be added to tours. Three classes may tour concurrently. Four weeks advance notice is required. Classes may not be combined.
