Programs at your location
Based on the California Science Framework Standards, our docents bring live animals and artifacts to your facility for curriculum directed presentations and special educational events.




Hours and prices
Hours Tuesday-Friday: between 10 am and 1 pm
These programs are one-hour long.
Cost All grades are $120 per presentation.

Group size
For K-2 the maximum group size is 20 students. For grades 3 and up the maximum group size is 35 students. Classes may not be combined. Room changes are not allowed and presentation times must not conflict with lunch or recess. Please note that teachers must be present at all times. A minimum of two programs is required. Four weeks advance notice is required.

Animal Homes (Grades K-2)
California Indians (Grades K, 3 and up)
Dinosaurs and Their Relatives (Grades 2 and up)
Earthquakes and Volcanoes
(Grades 4 and up)

Assembly presentation

Our Birds of Prey program is one hour long and geared for grades 3 and up. The maximum number of students is 150. This program is a flat rate of $300 including the travel fee.
